The Founder Feature: Eve Stones

As women, as mamas, as women in business, we know the daily grind of juggling it all and the passion, grit, sweat, tears and love that goes into bringing a vision to life. Which is where our new feature comes in! Introducing our new series: The Founder Feature which we’re kicking off with the lovely Fanny Eve from Eve Stones (aka, the most divine jewelry you’re about to become obsessed with!!) We’d love to hear from you, if you are or know a female founder, please send them our way to be featured (hello@yourzenmama.com). Now, over to Fanny Eve…

Eve’s Stones is all about women shining through the pure feminine light of the first woman Eve. I want my jewelry to offer each woman the spellbinding reconnection to her mystic Self by transcending the vibrations of The Garden of Eden; the path that I have traveled to channel my jewelry is definitely that of a mystic soul searching.

Each piece of my jewelry has been consciously sourced and created to make its wearer feel her most confident essence. My secret wish for all women is that they may each return to the origin of the Garden of Eden; that is, to the myth of the original innocence.

Can you share your story with us?
I was born and raised in Paris, France. I had a beautiful childhood, pretty much the most golden one with the chic and prosperous time and the finest original people of what Paris could bring at that time. It was a little crazy to see all Paris stopping at my parent's place (my father was the insurer of all movie studios, celebs and independent lawyers etc ..) In Paris you live to enjoy !! My parents are Jewish from Italy and Tunisia who immigrated to Paris in the 70’s.

Tell us about your business and what inspired it?
I immigrated to Los Angeles 16 years ago for love !! I was married for 15 years to the great son of Fred (Fine Jewelry) my ex-husband was very close to his granddad and when he passed away he decided to create a line on his own That gave me the knowledge and the love of fine jewelry. As a team, we worked as agents for many designers that we brought back from France and distributed successfully in the US market. I then launched on the side my own, Eve Stones for the love of healing women thru stones.

How have you grown as a founder / business owner?
Eve’s Stones is all about women shining through the pure feminine light of the first woman Eve. I want my jewelry to offer each woman the spellbinding reconnection to her mystic Self by transcending the vibrations of The Garden of Eden; the path that I have traveled to channel my jewelry is definitely that of a mystic soul searching.

Biggest obstacles / challenges you have faced? And most importantly, what have you learned from these?
After I got divorced which was very unfortunate for me and my 3 babies, this event was really hard to overcome for us for many reasons. Eve Stones survived it all, and is still alive with all my love and passion for the pieces, the creation of line literally kept me alive and moving, it made me happy.I had the call since then to go through a spiritual seeking to understand the non-understandable.

How do you celebrate wins?
I have met people that are spiritually evolved that I bond with and they eventually revealed to me that I was myself a kind of gifted healer meaning that my hands are healing with my energy and heat on others.

Favorite part of having your own business?
I use all my love and my healing in my jewelry for the love of women that I feel the urge to always support.

What skills have you learned since owning a business?
My business took me a lot of years to build, I know that I am only at the beginning of things and that it will succeed.

How do you manage the mom/life/work juggle?
My girls and I are like a team now and they understand their mummy very well in my crazy schedule and life, they are dancing around me with a lot of love and I can see in their eyes the trust that they are giving me and that for me is the most important thing.

Your favorite way to completely switch off?
I like to meditate every day which keeps me balanced because I need to move extremely fast in taking all the right decisions throughout my very fully booked days.

Best piece of business advice you've ever received?
